I couldn't decide whether to go with the colour or the black and white version, and when I was examining them side by side I realized they'd make a nice diptych.
nice duo and colors yiannis krikis @ 2010-11-22 19:19:02
For once my heart will go to the colored one. Just great. Anne V. @ 2010-11-22 19:42:32
Don't have a choie. This dyptic is perfect like this: the two pictures go together well!
Have a nice day. DomLortha @ 2010-11-22 20:57:07
Great photo! Beautiful. Great work! Rue Du Lavoir @ 2010-11-22 21:00:39
Here the color version is definitely my favorite! Claus @ 2010-11-22 23:22:09
In my opinion, droplets look better in the black and white version. But the colored one offers us a beautiful autumn red. PixeLuz @ 2010-11-22 23:31:59
definitely make a nice diptych. well done! Otto K. @ 2010-11-23 01:21:18
hey! you know what, it does go well together! excellent work.. :) rian @ 2010-11-23 03:00:32
I tell you what I like.
I like the red leaf on the black background. ;)
The colour background is a bit too busy.
What do you think? London Caller @ 2010-11-23 04:07:15
superb contrast and 3D like effect! joshi daniel @ 2010-11-23 04:13:23
It's amazing the difference color makes. In this case I prefer the color, but so often color ruins an image. sherri @ 2010-11-23 04:37:28
Very nice diptych--that's one good way to get around photographic indecision! :) Christopher @ 2010-11-23 04:59:29
Great contrast between the two! regzgz @ 2010-11-23 07:13:36
très beau, d'avoir réuni ces deux photo. J'aime beaucoup. Marie @ 2010-11-23 09:02:24
I think I like the color one better...but I do love the way you've paired them. Wonderful! Marcie @ 2010-11-23 10:15:09
Ahhh . . the age-old question. If you are asking, I'd go for the color version here but, no sooner do I type that than I start thinking sepia and colortone, quadratone and . . Ronnie 2¢ @ 2010-11-23 11:49:21
I like this...well done! bluechameleon @ 2010-11-23 15:18:33
Both are lovely. The only thing I don't like about the B&W is that the white pebbles in the aggregate seem too prominent in that version. And as a plus in the color, the red of the leaves have several nice, soft, shades of red. So I vote for the color - 9.5 to 9. Harry @ 2010-11-23 16:04:44
They do make a fine pair. I like each for every different reasons.
The fall look of the color is very nice and the black and white does a fine job with the droplets and the range of tones is very good.
