It's very beautiful and a place I'd love to stay. My curiosity makes me pose many questions. There are many tracks around the other sides of this house but only one set to the facing door. It also looks like ski tracks from the other side out across the hills so I wonder if this side is actually the back of the house?

Great image! That plateau/mountain in the background along with the snow covering everything really communicates the idea of humans living in a hostile environment.

Obviously the sun does hit it:-) Looks like a nice place. With that much firewood you should be able to stay warm and cozy when you're not skiing.
