Bored Of My Own Pictures

But seriously. I need to take a break of posting everyday. This wasn't an easy decision though. I'm stucked. I need to find new ways, ideas, inspiration, anything... I can't do that while feeding the beast of the daily photoblog with average shots. I'll be back later when I'll have something to share...

• The think that catches my eyes first in this photo is the contrasting yellow and blue. They play very well together in this photo.

• I really like the POV and colors in this one. About photoblogging I think it's a matter of deciding why one post pictures. I post images on my photoblog that I like, pics I would like to have some feedback on, Pics I'm proud of and somethimes just a shot of something I have seen that day. It's my outlet of some creativity. When I feel it's too consuming I back off for a while and let it rest. It often happens that I'm back on track after a few days.
  I think sometimes this blogging thing is what one "need" for a time in ones life and later other things fills the free time.
  Sorry for the lengthy post and I hope you'll find your way and inspiration.

  Taking a break is very often the best thing to do when you get there. If you really have photography into you (which you obviously have!), this break will give a second life to you passion and creative energy for sure.

• Your pictures are wonderful and I could not tell that you are lacking inspiration because it certainly doesn't show in the images you post. But I understand what you mean. I stopped posting daily about a year ago and it has been much better. I post every other day but I am now even considering cutting that back to 3 days a week.

• First of all, I must say that I support the idea on not posting a daily photo.
  I just don't really think that it's possible to create 365 GOOD photos.
  Even Cartier Bresson (I think.. Or was it Adams?) said that he is happy to get one good photo a year.
  Selecting the best photos, once a week, once a month, as way harder than find a photo for a day, because in other cases, you have to "live" with your choice for longer period, and that puts your artistic name on a line for much longer :)
  That said, you know I follow your blog for more than a year now (I think) and I enjoy your works.
  It makes me curious, just thinking that maybe now you'll change your style, when not posting daily.

• maybe sometimes a good idea to have a break or to post only if there are good posts... started also to make some more "inspirational" breaks. But in the end it's difficult to select "great" stuff. After one week without great stuff... or time to make pictures I start again to post average pictures :-(
