Comments on Sofobomo - The Second Book

This nice old lady told me her husband was taken away by Russian soldiers to forced labour after the World War II. He returned home 4 years later. Their son, who was just 4 months old when his father was taken away, needed some time to accept him. This is an everyday story in all the families in Hungary after the war. The husband has passed away some years ago, and the lady grows those white flowers for her husband's grave.

I like that she's wearing her apron. Reminds me of my Great Grandma(s). She has a beautiful garden and that window is a wonderful element.
