Comments on Marco Polo

I know this is not at all a great photo. However I wanted to show you this palazzo in which Marco Polo was born (the one in the middle of the picture). And if you happen to know that Marco Polo was born in 1254 then you can realise that this house was built almost 800 years ago. Still standing. Incredible, isn't it?

Classical but nicely done. And I prefer to see Veneza under a gray sky than a blue one. I think it fits better with the city's mood.

It's beyond incredible. Before I read the description I was going to say, "I'll take the house in the middle with the four upper arched windows". I thought at first had been divided into apartments. Now I see it's the entire structure as one house. What a wonderful experience to see such a place and what do you mean not that great...silly.

What a fine shot of these picturesque homes. I'm always amazed to see these large bulldings constructed in such a difficult environment! Fine color and detail. Very well done.
